CARE MINISTRY

At Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church, it is our mission to be a welcoming congregation that transforms and connects lives in Christ, and shares in the joy of celebrating the grace and glory of God through meaningful worship, study, service, outreach, and caring relationships of our members and community.

GLPC Meal Ministry

Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church is committed to feeding those in special time of need. Jesus once fed an entire crowd of thousands who were in need of a meal. The day had quickly turned to evening and the people were growing weary. Some suggested that Jesus send the crowds away to find food in the nearby towns, but Jesus had greater plans. He told his disciciples, "I want you to give them something to eat." What followed was the miracle of the fish and loaves.

Do you know of someone in a paritcular need of a meal and a visit? Do you have particular gifts in cooking or baking?

If you would like to get involved with this ministry, please email our Meals & Memorials Deacons.

CANCARE

CanCare is a cancer survivor support network which matches newly diagnosed cancer patients and/or their caregivers with a trained volunteer as closely as possible by gender, cancer site, treatment, family situation, etc. Volunteers are walking messages of hope who improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families.
