Growing in knowledge, faith, and love.

Colossians 2:6-7

Adult Bible Studies

GLPC has a number of Bible studies for a variety of different class demographics and discussion topics. Bible studies occur throughout the week. Studies range from Biblical book studies to more topical studies about how our faith informs and strengthens our lives. These are wonderful ways to build community and grow in your faith!

Thursdays: Women’s Bible Study (Room 209)
Thursday mornings at 10am.
Please join us as we dive into the truths of God’s Word through study and friendship.

Fridays: Women’s  Bible Study (Room 201/202)
Friday mornings at 10am.
This is a congenial group of mostly grandmas (some great grandmas) who love studying the Bible as well as enjoying wonderful fellowship!  We tend to alternate our studies between books of the Bible and Bible studies by authors such as Max Lucado, Lisa Terkeurst, and others.  In addition to our class fellowship, we try to get together for lunch once a month after our class time.

Fridays: Men’s Study (Room 209)
Fridays at noon.
Discusses books by renowned theologians like C.S. Lewis, N.T. Wright and Henri Nouwen along with pertinent Bible passages, always from a Reformed perspective. The men eat together, pray, and learn from each other’s unique Christian experience.

Sunday School

Sunday mornings at 9:30am we have Sunday School classes that meet regularly. These are a great way to build deeper and lasting relationships as we explore God's word together in study and discussion!

The Voyagers (Room 201/202)
An in-depth study of the Bible that is led by a team who use various commentaries to help enhance the lively class discussion. Class members pray then read the Bible passage aloud in class, usually covering only one or two chapters each week. Books of the Bible to study are chosen by class consensus.

The Cultivators (Room 209)
Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. The Cultivators Class will cover the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture.
