Our Mission
We strive to transform & connect
lives in Christ.
lives in Christ.
Our Vision
We endeavor to be a welcoming congregation that shares in the joy of celebrating the grace and glory of God through meaningful worship, study, service, outreach, and caring relationships of our members and community.
Our Community
We value meaningful and caring relationships built on Christ. We are a warm and friendly congregation who help to make GLPC feel like home.
Our Beliefs
We are devoted to worshiping and serving the triune God (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) through Jesus Christ, the incarnation of God the Son who lived among us. We profess the greatness and goodness of God. God is holy, sovereign, and just. We believe that each of us is in need of forgiveness, redemption, and salvation. God's love has been displayed through Jesus Christ - the way, the truth, and the life - and his atoning sacrifice on the cross for our sin. We place our trust in His saving grace and strive to live our lives in the fullness of the life in His Spirit. The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
GLPC’s chief mission is to provide opportunities for transforming and connecting lives in Christ. We believe the great end of all humanity is to glorify God and enjoy God forever. As we worship and follow the teaching of Jesus, we rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We are conservative and orthodox, and our theology is Reformed. We believe that ongoing learning, with a strong foundation in Scripture, is critical to living transformed lives. We trust that the Bible is inspired by God and provides truth that leads to eternal life in Christ.
GLPC celebrates two (2) Sacraments: The Sacrament of Baptism and the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
